Product description

Use CGT-N1 neutralising fluid to successfully remove all traces of acidity from metal surfaces after weld cleaning, polishing and marking.

The CGT-N1 is a unique non-dangerous water-based formula that will improve the aesthetics of the surface that was treated with the electrochemical Cougartron process.


To avoid white stains appearing on the surface, it is important to use a generous amount of neutralizer after each weld cleaning or marking session.

Use and application:

  1. Dip the weld cleaning brush into the weld cleaning fluid
  2. Clean the weld with a circular motion until the desired result
  3. Wipe away any excess fluid residue from the treated surface
  4. Apply neutralizing fluid CGT-N1 on the cleaned area
  5. Wipe away with a clean cloth

Important: Never spray neutralizing fluid on the surface that still has weld cleaning fluid residue to prevent the appearance of white stains. Always use a clean cloth for wiping away the neutralizing fluid.

Using CGT-N1 does not guarantee complete removal of white stains on brushed stainless steel surfaces. Use our new Cougartron CGT-N5 Fluid -WELC3158 for the effective neutralization of brushed stainless welds and surfaces.
