Engweld stocks a wide range of Butane and Propane Gas Regulators. They are available for low and high pressure applications.
Butane and Propane are two forms of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Gas regulators are an essential component to reduce the pressure of LPG in the cylinder to match the much lower pressure required by your appliance thus making it safe for your home, business, caravan or motorhome.
The pressure in your Butane or Propane gas cylinder may be anywhere in the range of 400-1200kPa and it can vary with temperature. A gas regulator will ensure supply of consistent regulated pressure as required by your appliance which can be around 2.75kPa only for most gas appliances.
An important aspect to note is the service life of your gas regulator which must be specified by the manufacturer. If it is not then the recommended service life is 10 years as long the regulator has been used according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Engweld also stocks a range of butane and propane regulator accessories such as pigtails for connecting propane cylinders to automatic changeover manifolds. You can also buy a Pol Extended Tee Piece which can be used in conjunction with POL/POL Pigtails to connect propane cylinders together to improve the gas supply. They can also be used to connect two regulators to one cylinder.
You can also browse a range of gas hoses to go along with the butane and propane gas regulators.
Engweld also stocks gas regulators for industrial use including Single Stage Gas Regulators, Multi Stage Gas Regulators, Nevoc Gas Regulators and High Pressure Gas Regulators.
