Welding Aprons
Welding aprons, sometimes referred to as a welder's apron, are protective garments worn by welders to protect their lower body and legs from sparks, spatters, heat and other hazards associated with welding. Welding aprons also help to keep the welder’s clothing clean and prevent them from becoming stained or damaged by welding spatter and molten metal.
Every one of our welders aprons offers protection to the front body and helps to avoid serious injuries like burns and sparks. Every welding apron at Engweld is designed to be robust, secure and durable. When working with sparks, chemicals, molten metal and flames, a resilient apron is key to providing personal protection.
These aprons are specially made from heat-resistant materials such as leather, which offers protection and comfort whilst working. This material is selected to specifically provide support in high temperatures and is ideal for heavy-duty welding. A leather welding apron can be used outdoors and are weather-resistant, ensuring maximum productivity even in damp conditions.
Welders Aprons Technical Specification Comparison
Welders' aprons are categorized primarily by their material (for heat/spatter resistance) and their EN ISO 11611 Class, which dictates the level of protection against heat and molten spatter.
