Engweld can provide all your gas cutting and welding equipment. We supply only major brands such as ESAB and Harris thus ensuring consistent quality products, manufactured to the latest British and International standards.
Your gas welding and cutting equipment has to be safe and meet current standards. Your regulators have to be able to handle the higher pressure of today’s 300 bar cylinders. You must have working flashback arrestors fitted. It is your duty to ensure that your gas welding and cutting equipment is safe and fit for purpose, and comply with Standards such as the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974, BCGA codes of practice CP7 and HSE “The Safe Use Of Compressed Gases in Welding, Flame Cutting, and Allied Processes No. HS(G)139”. Don’t take chances with damaged or old equipment. Our fully trained Gas Safety Inspectors can check that your gas equipment fully conforms to current standards and legislation, whether for oxy/fuel or shielding gas applications. Engweld gas equipment safety checks are carried out by our own fully trained inspectors to BCGA CP7 and certified by City and Guilds of London Institute.
Our inspections include:-
• Leak and functionality testing of regulators, flashback arrestors, hoses, associated fittings and blowpipes
• A comprehensive written report issued with the inspector’s findings
• A certificate issued when all equipment is deemed satisfactory and compliant
